The Pumpkin Festival: A Local Tradition
Formerly known as Minges Pumpkin Festival, this event has transformed from a small backyard gathering started in 1984 to a regional tradition drawing thousands of visitors from across the region. With the guidance and support of the neighboring Minges family, the festival was relocated to Weber’s in 2015. The Pumpkin Festival is always the third full weekend in October, and offers live music, more than 150 arts and crafts exhibitors, food, live demonstrations and many activities for kids. The Weber family hopes the Pumpkin Festival will encourage people to develop a connection with agriculture and join in to celebrate the fall season in the family friendly atmosphere they have created.
