On the International Stage
Founded in 1972, Crown Plastics is celebrating its 40th year in Harrison. The company moved from Lawrenceburg, Indiana in 1978. Primarily a producer of an anti-friction, anti-wear grade of polyethylene, Crown’s largest markets include material handling, transportation, and the board sports market which is made up of skis, snowboards and wakeboards. Recently, Crown has begun using its unique continuous press technology to enter the thermoplastic composite industry. With the Winter Olympics taking center stage, Crown will see additional attention as it does every four years due to its participation in the ski and snowboard industry.
