cincinnati asphalt Cincinnati Asphalt was founded in 2011 by Joey Madden, and his wife, Katie. From its inception out of their home garage, the company immediately began growing at a tremendous rate.

The company officially moved into its current Harrison facility in 2012 and has quickly outgrown its location. Now with 43 employees and revenues rapidly approaching $10M per year, Cincinnati Asphalt has quickly become one of the largest paving contractors in Greater Cincinnati. The rapid growth of the company has earned them recognition by multiple pavement organizations, and they have been awarded Cincinnati Business Couriers “Fast 55” award in 2016 and again in 2017, for being one of the fastest growing companies in Greater Cincinnati.

Preparing for More Growth

The tremendous growth of Cincinnati Asphalt allowed the company to purchase ACT Recycling, a 33 acre gravel, topsoil, concrete recycling, asphalt reclamation and clean fill operation in Miamitown, Ohio in October of 2016. This acquisition will allow for even more growth for the company as it moves heavily into expanding its new construction and site development side of the company. Company President Joey Madden and Vice President of Operations Joe Durham fully expect Cincinnati Asphalt to double in size again, in two years or less.

Cincinnati Asphalt specializes in commercial and municipal asphalt, concrete, and site development. They still perform residential projects for the local customer base in Harrison, as well.

“As much as we have grown, there is nothing we love more than doing work right here in our hometown,” said Joey.
