Family businesses employ 63 percent of the U.S. workforce and contribute $8.3 trillion of our GDP. Their success is key to growth and prosperity of our region.

GHCC members and guests enjoyed an insightful presentation by Steve Hater from the Goering Center for Family and Private Business April 11. Steve shared 10 best practices (and several great anecdotes) that family and private businesses need to succeed.

“Having owned a business for many years, and been privy to inside information on several other family businesses, I would highly recommend the Goering Center as an invaluable resource,” said Jeff Hillgrove, CEO of Presidents Federal Credit Union. “Family business or no, any business would benefit from the information Steve Hater presented today.  I never realized that we had a gem such as the Goering Center in Cincinnati, so many resources right in our backyard.”

The presentation was part of the GHCC Business @Breakfast series. The next session is Grow Your Business Online with Google June 13. Learn more
