911 Steel, a traveling memorial to the Sept. 11, 2001 tragedy and the resiliency of America, will be at Circling Hills Golf Course Sept. 10, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The memorial is part of the Greater Harrison Chamber of Commerce Second Annual Golf Outing, benefiting the business community and local first responders.
There is no cost to see the memorial, but donations will be accepted. Golfers can register here for the Chamber’s outing. Proceeds from the golf outing benefit the Chamber, which is run by local volunteers. A portion will be presented to local police and fire departments.
The Greater Harrison Chamber was founded in 2014, “To Promote the Prosperity of the Greater Harrison Business Community.” Community members wanted an organization that focused on the development and support of the local business community and to provide a voice for local businesses to city, county, state and national government. The Chamber also provides educational forums, networking, leadership development, marketing opportunities and benefit programs.
